Tattered Wings Can Carry Me, and I Will Fly Free

I really fell in love with this Swallowtail. Despite all that it has been through, all the scars it has been marred with, it still flies. It has the strength to carry itself up above the dried and dying blooms to feed on those still fresh with life. It flittered with such merry and joy I was entranced. I particularly liked this shot, as it's battered wings formed such a perfect heart. It was like a message of love from something that had clearly suffered so much. We all thristily cross paths with dried blooms crumbling to dust, we all suffer scrapes and scars. And this said a lot to me about overcoming, and holding on to joy.
